2025 BMW Motorrad Contingency Program Rules

OVERVIEW:
The BMW Motorrad USA Customer Race Contingency program (the “Program”) is provided by BMW Motorrad USA, a division of BMW of North America, LLC ("BMW Motorrad USA”).  The program is specifically designed to reward outstanding BMW Motorrad customer racing performances in the United States during 2025.

GUIDELINES:
Rewards will be confirmed for payment for eligible riders on eligible motorcycles, as they race within eligible classes in eligible series through those series' official posted results.

TERMS OF ELIGIBILITY FOR BMW MOTORRAD USA CUSTOMER RACE CONTINGENCY AWARDS:

  • Awards can only be earned by racers/teams competing on approved BMW motorcycles, in approved series in approved classes as outlined in this document.
  • Riders must correctly display BMW Motorrad branding on their competition motorcycle at all times. Minimum branding equal to the stock branding location and size of the Roundel. Any variation from stock must be reviewed and approved by BMW Motorrad.
  • Teams/Riders will need to complete the necessary registration as linked on this website with our payment agency. A step-by-step guide will be shared once teams/riders have registered. This process must be completed to be considered active in the 2025 Customer Race Contingency program and to be eligible to receive reward payments.
  • Awards will be paid based on the rider’s best overall finish in BMW Contingency supported races and designated classes (check your local club for supported events).
o  In cases of dual sanctioned club events, the rider will be paid for one event only.
  • Contingency will only be paid for the specific race as identified in each Series’ tab on this official webpage.
  • All rewards are based in, and confirmed through, the official-posted race results from the official race series promoter. Any discrepancies on results must be taken up with the race promoter and not with BMW Motorrad.
  • In all matters relating to the interpretation or application of any guideline or condition of this program, the decision of BMW Motorrad USA shall be final.
  • Program details and qualifications are subject to change without notice.
  • Minimum Rider Count:
o  A minimum of (6) riders in a class must compete and start a race in order to have the race be eligible for contingency payout. This is verified through official results provided by each Series.
o  A Did Not Start (DNS) does not count in the minimum rider count
  • All payouts will be sourced from the official final results publicly posted by participating Series.
o   If a rider changes motorcycle brand, model or model year that is not eligible they will be disqualified from payments.
o  Any disputes on the results must be resolved by the series and posted publicly through official updated results.
o  Only eligible BMW motorcycles qualify for the Program.
  • Race dates and locations are selected by the promoter and posted publicly. For information regarding a specific race, contact the respective promoter.
  • Registration will also require that all participating racers review and complete a rights waiver to allow BMW Motorrad to utilize a rider’s name, signature, voice, photograph, video, image and likeness and racing number or similar material in any advertisement or sales promotion related to BMW Motorrad products.
  • In all matters relating to the interpretation or application of any guideline or condition of this program, the decision of BMW Motorrad USA shall be final.
